Bubble Tea is the type of niche that was ever-growing, especially in Dubai. I recognized that there was an increase in small home-based business and I took it upon myself to consider a 'side hustle', last year. There was no particular boba business in this region that claimed itself as vegan and gluten-free which I saw great scope in. By only using social media and word-of-mouth (WOM), I have successfully sold a 100 packs of BUBBL'D boba.

Logo & Branding Elements
I was thrilled to be creating a brand from scratch - especially, one with a logo, mission, vision, packaging - all of it, designed by me. Besides the product itself, many appreciated the look, convenience and functionality of the packaging.
Instagram Ad
Further into the launch, I advertised my brand's USPs such as free Metro delivery as well as keywords like Gluten-Free and Vegan.
Hashtags
Something that I learned from research before introducing the brand was the use of specific hashtags more than generic ones. It was important t study the audience and what they look for. In this case, I conducted a competitive review and studied the hashtags they use to get prospects.
Target Audience
Dubai is known for its gastronomical foods as well as the way it celebrates diverse cultures through food, clothing etc. There has also been a surge of boba content on social media platforms such as TikTok. My main target audience is active Instagram and TikTok Gen-Z and millennial users.
Social Media Content
It was important for me to stray away from humdrum and boring content and so I discovered ways to get the message across. With the help of platforms like Canva, I worked on relatable and visually pleasing content while also considering the market environment and hopping on trends.
Influencer Marketing
I had the opportunity to collaborate for a giveaway, with a talented food blogger and photographer, Jasmine Jose (@kala.jamoon) which gained the brand more traction than the ads did. This is proof that influencer marketing is an effective channel to promote a brand, small or big.
